BlueVault
Does Fallout have the TranslateTo (or its equivalent) function like in Skyrim? http://www.creationkit.com/TranslateTo_-_ObjectReference
luthienanarion
Oh heavens, no. The closest thing would be iterated calls to SetPos, SetAngle, and/or Rotate. http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/SetPos
BlueVault
Hmm..I don't suppose there are any premade moving lift mods? I know Bethesda and several mods use the illusion of an elevator moving by moving the entire room itself but that is not what I am looking for. I could have sworn I played a mod that manged to do this but I can't recall which one. I've tried to script it using GetPos and SetPos but I'm terrible at scripting. Some guys over at a Skyrim forum boards managed to script a vertical moving Dwamer lift and I figured the same could be applied to Fallout? http://www.gameskyrim.com/any-premade-lift-out-the-somewherelse-t259359.html
luthienanarion
Skyrim uses a completely different scripting engine from the Fallout (and previous Elder Scrolls) games. The normal way to animate an object pre-Skyrim is to make a Havok animation and apply it to the object. I have absolutely no idea how to do that, by the way. BlueVault
Never mind, found a way to get it working after many failed attempts, a bit glitchy though. I really dislike the Gamebryo engine. Thanks for the help anyway. :) Edited July 30, 2012 by BlueVault
