Mesh scaling factor?

So all the way between Morrowing and Skyrim, 1 unit of size in the mesh was about 0.55 inches. Or rather, a human of height 1 was 128 units tall, and you can take it from there.

 

So I take a Skyrim weapon mesh, export the obj, import in Outfit Studio, yada yada, and get a frikken huge weapon. Now I have actually checked the values in the obj file, the mesh I imported is just shy of 100 units long. What I get in the game is definitely not 50-something inches long. It's something the size of a telephone pole.

 

So does anyone know how much 1 unit is for Fallout 4, please?

Wow... I'm speechless. Outfit Studio apparently decided to just rescale my mesh to a stupid size without even telling me. The values I'm seeing in the vertex array in the nif are nothing like the values I had in the .obj file...

 

Edit: looks like it multiplied my old values by 10 when importing them... Not sure why...
