LE New Animation for 1 Handed Weapon

Hello all, I've recently converted a 1h weapon animation mod from oldrim found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18981

I got it to work in sse except for one thing. When ever I run/walk left or right, my PC moves incredibly fast like she's running, except her actual speed is super slowed down. I think the original mod author, xp32, left it unfinished as there are several comments from users experiencing the same thing.

Would it be possible for any animation wizards out there to fix this? Permissions on that mod page says "Please notify me if you happen to include the files" but he seems to have been away from the modding scene for 2 years now so I don't know how that will work out.

If anyone can do it, I'd really appreciate it because these animations are a must have for me. Thank you.

Edit: just the animations where the pc only has a sword in one hand running/ walking left or right are the problem childs, magic and sword/ shield and sword work fine.
