Disabling blood/decals on my character only?

Is there a simple way to do this? Like an ini setting or something? I am currently screwing around trying to play a giant Nord barbarian-esque character (primarily using the console, since I don't actually know how to mod), but the setscale command makes blood look pixelated and terrible on my body, even with Realistic Blood Textures. My knowledge of modding is extremely limited, but if this is, in fact, not very difficult, please let me know. Thanks.
