I think skyrim is really the only game on earth where I hate patches :D

Is there a possibility to restore the prior version? Script Dragon cannot work with new versions, and the most important mods (for me) are tied to this script..^^ (Turned off Auto-Update on steam now xD)

system restore, restore to yesterday if you can

in windows 7 that be control panel, system and security and action center

I couldn't start the game yesterday until I tried going online. I've been playing offline on purpose to keep from getting a stealth upgrade. I also had "keep my game current" turned off. I suspect Steam made it so I couldn't play offline.

Well, I thought it wouldn't hurt to play logged in online for a while. Wrong! Steam somehow did a stealth upgrade anyway. Must have turned on "keep current" themselves. Now I can't even start the game because SKSE gives me an error. I sure hope the fixes mentioned here work.

A web site or service that makes unapproved changes to one's computer is malware or a hack site or whatever.

I truly despise Steam.

Why do all that, just go to skyrim folder, right click, properties, previous ver. tab, and pick one, and done.

Current beta build (1.5.10, compatible with beta runtime 1.7.7.0 on 23 July 2012)

works with the version of the patch that was released just today.

Thank you for this hint. unfortunately the restore button is greyed out.. windows help tells me that in this case there is no backup -.-

Well then wait until Scriptdragon is updated again^^

WOOT! I haz been learning teh mods so I had a backup (manually copy to HD) of the TESV file. So far so good in running things even after the Steam Ninja'd me!

Yes SKSE worked with the download of the update, no dragonscript didnt!
