Matveltovitch
Essentially, it'd be a self-powered, disposable Settlement Beacon. In order to use it, you first craft an item called the Quik-N-EZ Settlement Beacon Kit at the Chemistry Bench. You can then place a Quik-N-EZ Settlement Beacon in a settlement, where it will immediately activate. You cannot manually turn off a Quik-N-EZ Settlement Beacon (aside from scrapping it in the build menu), however after a period of time (long enough for ~5 settlers to arrive), the beacon will 'break', thus turning off. The player cannot repair it, but they can scrap it for a partial return on the resources needed to craft it. This would be a good way to attract a few settlers to a settlement in a 'hands off' kind of way, while also reducing the resource cost (as the Settlement Beacon Kit would take less resources to craft than a standard beacon + small generator) When paired with SimSettlements, it would allow the player to quickly set up smaller settlements through placing a handful of plots and the Quik-N-EZ beacon. SKKmods
I made one for my open world mod, but everyone just ends up using the "spawn me a settler now" button (to the right on the menu).
