Game Crashing Upon Loading or Starting New Game

So I have an issue where whenever I try to load a game or a start a new game it shows the roulette screen for a little bit, then crashes.

This issue started after I installed a bunch of mods, and after disabling the troubled ones I was able to get to the menu screen. Unfortunately when I went to start a new game it did what I said above.

After trial and error in attempting to find the troubled file I just ended up running it vanilla. The problem persisted.

I've tried everything on the internet I could find in relation to fallout new vegas crashing and none of them have worked. Please help

Please see the thread "Master missing, check load order". You have essentially the same problem, and the same recommendations. Simply disabling a mod does not resolve the problems with any vanilla files it overwrote or added. By this point, you may want to consider if it wouldn't be easier and faster to try the 'Restoring to "Vanilla"' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.

That seems to have worked for vanilla, is it wise to reintstall the mods but with caution for which one might have been screwing it up in the first place?
