help installing new character

okay,thank you for all the help.another question though,i have the expansion but i haven't even gotten anywhere near close to beating the game.if i do install it,is it a whole new game or am i able to continue from where i am.

EDIT:oh,how would i go about "modding" it so tht i am able to give her tht set of armor/clothes?

 

 

First question: Shivering Isles adds a whole new landscape that is really optional to do. Installing it will in no way affect the original oblivion quests or Cyrodiil. So there's no worry about installing it.

 

Second question: Many mods out there already enable 'unlootable' armor such as the Dark Seducer/Golden Saint, Imperial legion armor, Imperial Palace Guard, blah blah blah. A quick search here or on PES should bring something up.

Just having the Shivering Isles installed is not quite enough to get the armor. You will need a mod to allow you to use the armor. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14639

 

Then you need to find the armor - not hard as members of both factions get killed while playing the expansion and you can probably get it from the bodies.

 

After the SI in installed, you can go to and from it as often as you like. And carry things from SI back into Tamriel.

okay,im about to install si then i'll try to use that mod.

so after tht i need to go to "si" to get the armor,i can "teleport" or whatever it's called to it from tht map right?

EDIT:okay i got to the "new door" but it won't let me in >.<
