Game flow stops during helgen sequence

I decided to buy skyrim today after playing it at a friends house, so i did and played for about an hour, but then i found out about mods, so i cleared my save, got a bunch of mods and started a new game. but now for some reason when ingrid is supposed to say "death to the stormcloaks" she doesnt, and then the imperial captain just stands beside the dead body and doesnt signal me to the block.

 

i was thinking it was a mod conflict so i deactivated them on the manager but the same problem occurred. i reset the preferences, cleared the plugins and did everything i could think of that would solve the problem but it still didnt work.

 

i would just like to know if there was anything else i could do without having to uninstall and reinstall, as that is my last resort.

some mods are not fully removed from your game unless you do a clean save. there might still be scripts in play or effects from a mod plugin still incorporated in the save. when you uninstall a mod you must remove all objects or the like from the game. some mods give instructions for cleaning that particular mod for example, convenient horses tells you how to stop the script by using a console command.

 

you have doubtless corrupted your save and need to start over. If you're running a mod that gives an alternate beginning, read the readme or instructions carefully.

all i had was CBBE, CBBEv3M, Lockpick Pro, Remodelled Armor, and UFO. nothing that altered the beginning, and i tried making new saves multiple times, but it still didnt work. so i just reinstalled last night and added in the same mods after the helgen sequence, then all was good. but thanks anyway
