myrmaad
Think this has been tried, but any way we can get a working journal? Maybe even just write it ouside Oblivion (i.e. Notepad) then transfer it into game or something. Would be nice to record your events thru out the characters life, bet thered be some really good stories. Been using this one with no problems, it was recently updated. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15294

Shadowcran
not really. If I'd have said, girl, she'd have took that as a negative conotation, as it can be a degrading term. "Guy's" on the other hand is a generic term for a group and a single person, not particularly gender specific in some parts of the world. Therefore I felt I was safe. Don't put words in my mouth. Girl is fine when your a woman of my age. "Guy's" on the other hand is a generic term for a group and a single person, not particularly gender specific in some parts of the world. Therefore I felt I was safe. ..As in "you guys" but it still means a male when directed at a specific person. You didn't know better, but now you do. And I'm pretty girly even in the faceless internet world; if I was a guy, I'd have to be pretty "girlyman". I don't get how people could make that mistake really, unless they don't pay any attention at all.

Some people miss that my nick-name is a stylized spelling of MERMAID. it's okay it weeds out the dummies. Anyway, it's a bit slow but it's pretty cool for keeping track of certain modded quests where you have to check in on a certain day of the month, and for other reasons, the calendar feature is cool: I wish I had found it at the very beginning of my game. Enjoy.
Shadowcran
Forgive me, in real life I'm a jaded knight. Why? Feminism taken to extremes has virtually killed chivalry. Yes, feminism should assert itself, but not overkill. If a man holds a door open for a lady, it's not being sexist, it's being courteous. Things of this sort have jaded me into not giving one rat's arse about being chivalrous at all, but I do try to avoid conflicts. However, if feminists go around looking for reasons to be offended, they'll find them. Just like if I went around looking for reasons to be offended because of my heavy Irish heritage, I'd find them. Do I march every time I hear a reference to a drunken, stubborn Irishman? nope. If I did, I wouldn't have time to be obstinate about my drinking. Ok, yeah this is going off topic a bit so I hope the others will kindly humor us just a bit. Shadow, I'm following why you're jaded; but I don't follow how you seem to pin that on me. I, and in fact every one of my girlfriends, love a man to open doors for me, buy me a drink, and even light my cigarette, (yes I'm a smoker -- unfortunately). Just last weekend my girlfriend and I went to the beach and one night had a few drinks with some guys at a bar, and it was hilarious when I was fumbling through my purse for a light and TWO male bartenders ran up vying to do the honors. I'm still a pretty girl, and I like that kind of attention. so be it. I just don't see what you're describing, very often at all. Are you sure a couple of bad apples aren't spoiling the whole barrel for you? FOR THE RECORD, I'm not offended by what you said, above this post, but what you said below is rather offensive. You keep assuming things, and you know what they say about what happens when you ASSUME, don't you? Ass - U - Me
Shadowcran
I didn't pin it on you. I was explaining why I used the caution of "guys' rather than the other "girl". Still didn't work, did it? Still offended you despite best efforts.
