Grass mods.

anyone know of any green grass mods that don't end up with grass poking through buildings floors, pavement etc?

 

I want the density in wooded areas but not in cities.. is this possible or are most ground types that have grass added actually under stuff like roads and pavement ect?

Take a look at Ground, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17691 , and Grounded, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/categories/48/ . Both of these let you place grass, one lets you create bodies of water. When laying down grass, you may have to raise the blocks above whatever area you're in to avoid grass or plants from popping through.
