1st off what are the specifications of your PC ? and also are you overclocking Anything ? I know for a fact that a bad overclock will cause Skyrim to lockup and crash or even BSOD the system, so if you are overclocking try setting the OC back or completely off and see if that helps.

My system use to be running at 4GHz, which I Thought was stable after running Prime95 for 4-5 hours then after 2 weeks I was playing Skyrim and I got a freeze then BSOD so I set my OC back to 3.9GHz @ v1.3875 and have been stable since.

My System.

AMD Phenom II X4 955BE @ 3.9GHz

8GB DRR3 1600MHz

HD4890 1GB

ASRock 990FX Extreme 4

No I haven't overclocked anything, I never had this problem before.

Try disabling the 7K Whiterun mod, I know it causes crashes from what other ppl on that mods page have said. Other then disabling texture mods or similar I don't see anything that I know causes your stated issues :(. An I have nearly all the mods you do so my best guess would be that its mod related, you may have to disable them all and then re-enable 1 at a time to see which causes the issues.

Did you run the game as vanilla with No mods and it still did that ?

Yeah I reinstalled and ran it vanilla with no mods. I think i might know the cause of the problem. I installed Convenient Horses and uninstalled it without typing 'StopQuest CH' into the console. Apparently this cause scripts to stay in your save, could this be the cause of random freezes? Thanks

That could be the issue, also do you use any follower mods not mentioned above like UFO or similar ? If the save this is happening to is a relatively new game then you may want to start a new and see if the crashes persists. Also do you use SKSE ? and if so what plug-ins are in use ? I was using SKSE with SkyUI but I removed it when I reinstalled. I started a new game and its working fine but my other save is still freezing! :(
