Home page log in problem

I'm having a bit of a problem with the home page. It asks me to log in and I do but the log in doesn't appear to work on the home page. The request for log in is still there along with all the other things that you don't see once you log in. The rest of the site shows me as logged in though. This just started yesterday. I haven't changed my browser or anything else.

 

 

EDit: Well I managed to fix my issue. I logged out of the forums, which showed me as logged in when the home page wouldn't, and then logged back in to the forums again. Now the home page is showing me as logged in. Odd glitch.
