prince_of_blades
Hey there , so im pretty new to this whole mods thing , and ive downloaded few mods and most of them worked but then i noticed something , some of the mods do not work and theres something in common between all the mods that do no work, they all add something to the game , be it a race , hairstyle , armor , weapon or anything that is added to the game world or the character, it simply doesnt work , however a remake of anything works , for example an edited armor e.g. an edited version of the thieves guild armor works for , animations , sounds , bodies they all change but when i add a new armor to the game its just not there.. anyone knows why or whats causing this ? sinnerman69
did you add this line to your mydocuments/mygame/skyrim/skyrimprefs ini bEnableFileSelection=1 it makes mods work right or show up by default it's set to 0, make sure to change it to 1 you use text document to open ini files and to edit them you edit the skyrimprefs.ini you add that line under [launcher] in the ini file [Launcher]bEnableFileSelection=

My issue was locks on my files and jpgs images and who had permission to move them or delete them and I fixed that issue, but forgot how Edited August 1, 2012 by sinnerman69
