You need to start learning:

1) Blender or 3d Studio Max, for the 3d models or any other 3d program with "nif" export capability. (Blender is free)

2) Photoshop or any other image editing program with "dds" save capability, for creating textures.

3) NifSkope for attaching textures and nods and other things you might need in the future.

There are a lot of tutorials on-line for all of the above and there are also some awesome tutorials right at the top of this page. You need to start from somewhere so that someone can actually help you.

Just find a tutorial that shows how to create a custom weapon from scratch and follow the steps, eventually you'll get it. It might sound overwhelming learning all those programs but it's not that difficult, it's just time consuming.

In Nexus the mods are free, although there are two options:

1) Donation - downloaders can donate money that goes straight to your bank account. This option can be enable throught your Nexus account and mod's page.

2) Nexus Opt-in donation system - if you Opt-in a mod to the system you get (if i remember correctly) 0.001 cent for every uniqe download from Nexus donation pool. But to actually get some serious money from this you will need to have hundreds of thousands of downloads... at least. In this system you can buy from Nexus on-line store (games, hardwear and anything that the store has) or you can donate to a charity or cash in.

* Mostly the majority of modders just do it for the love they have for the game and not for money. This is why this community has grown so much.

huh ok thanks i mainly wanted to make these mods because i wanna try to put things that catch my interest into skyrim and a small part of me thought modders made money doing this but the latter only came to me 2 days ago while the former came to me months ago i do a lot of brainstorming although that can be attributed to my asperger's syndrome so i really wanna make skyrim se xb1 mods for sever and doomhammer from warcraft the movie, the huntsman, skinchanger, barbarian, and primal style weapon and armors from eso, thunderlord and iron wolf armor and weapons from warlords of draenor, and frostwolf armor from the warcraft film as well these are what caught my eyes and i wanna make skyrim se xb1 mods for them cause they look cool and no ones thought of making mods for them regardless of the time needed.

But i have one truly last question how do i get people to help me make mods or am i better off being a lone wolf for safety
