Cryptdick Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I saw this on a youtube video tutorial before, but I couldn't find it again. How do I link together objects in a custom settlement so that they can be scrapped as a group? (i.e. bookcase with boxes on shelves scrapping together) I swear it was with done with linked references and a certain keyword, but I might be wrong since it was months ago I saw the video explaining it...
SKKmods Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I have done that using WorkshopStackedItemParentKEYWORD how to writeup here step (17) https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/1023
Cryptdick Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 Ahh yis, it was this part that I was looking for:(-) minus key to group select. In the batch window add LinkedRef for keyword WorkshopStackedItemParentKEYWORD referencing the WoodCrate_Empty name PREFIX_WorkshopStackedItemParentKEYWORDHub. This will exclude items from regenerated precombine and make scrappable. Thanks a bunch SKK50!
DieFeM Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 (edited) I guess you saw this video (4:34): Edited March 3, 2019 by DieFeM
Cryptdick Posted March 3, 2019 Author Posted March 3, 2019 I do believe that was the video too, thanks! Bookmarked it for future reference.
pra Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Keep in mind that if you scrap-link workshop-buildable objects to something, they won't necessarily actually scrap together. They will usually just fall down if you scrap the thing.
