Problem with armor being unequipped

Let me start off by saying that I'm fairly new to Skyrim modding so apologies if I'm overlooking something fairly obvious.

 

My problem is that when ever I try to equip armor (not helmet, boots, etc, just the main armor piece), it immediately gets unequipped.

I believe the issue is with Schlongs of Skyrim, as removing it fixes the problem.

However this issue only started occurring after switching to a different profile and back, and as far as I'm aware nothing changed in the first profile.

 

If anyone could help find the cause of this issue I'd appreciate it.
