G0RII
So one of the complaints i have against the animations are that many of the guns are too large in the screen in first person. Is there a way to shrink them nd or move the position of the guns in a satisfactory way? And if so what is it? I have blender installed so if i need to use that i can (although id have to do a little learning on how to actually use it effectively).
dubiousintent
Animations are designed around certain "types" of standard vanilla weapons. All weapons of that type use the same animation (e.g. "Data\Meshes\Characters\_1stperson\2hraimis.kf" would be "2handed rifle aim iron sights" type). The vanilla animations are stored in the "Fallout - Meshes.BSA" file. The "loose files" you find under that path are those added or replacing vanilla ones from some mod which "ArchiveInvalidation" causes to be used instead of the BSA versions. The result of this is that any weapons which appear "odd" are the result of failing to conform to the original size of the vanilla weapon it replaced: either the weapon itself or the replacement animation. It would be best to bring the matter to the attention of the author of the offending mod. Check their mod comments first. Unless it is a newly released mod the issue has probably been raised before. If it is an established mod and there are no comments similar to your situation, consider that it may be the result of something peculiar to your setup. For instance, your "FOV" (Field of View) settings. There are a number of interactions between the different settings, which the "FOV Slider" mod by RoyBatty deals with. I believe you would typically use the tool NifSkope to resize the mesh. -Dubious-
