constant save corruption issue

So here I am, playing a new playthrough of skyrim on a fresh install on my new laptop. I'm trudging about happily, when some bandit knifes me in the spleen and I have to reload a save.

Suddenly the game kicks me in the nuts and tells me "the save file is corrupt and cannot be loaded." I load an earlier save and keep going, but all my saves from this point forward start doing the same thing.

This started happening to every manual save I make, including clean saves through the console. as far as I can tell, it doesn't really happen to auto-saves all that much, although I haven`t been bothered to run in and out of buildings to check.

to fix this, I first tried deactivating all my mods, enb, and running skyrim without SKSE. no luck.

then, I did a reinstall. I ran the game on all vanilla settings, and voila, new saves were no longer corrupting. Happy with myself for being so clever, I begin installing all my mods back. I go to play the game, and the problem restarts. even turning off SKSE, enb, and all my mods, it still does it.

I can't play the game any more, because every time I try to save, the save file corrupts. Has anyone had this problem before? can anyone guess as to what the hell is causing all this?

I'm running ENB, SKSE, and scriptdragon, alongside a small handful of mods. I'm on windows 7 home premium.

thanks in advance for any help.
