I will post this on Oblivion, But I thought I'd share it for Skyrim. I do not really have Skyrim but I hope to someday~ So Ill wait if someone gifts it to me or I can afford it~ So Far the videos about the games are amazing! I would really love to play the game.

Anyway, What would be interesting would be Final Fantasy Summons could be present on the field. They always last 90 seconds on the field and come with their Unique effects when present, Especially FF 12 kinds.

What it would be like that these special summons have unique powers and abilities on the field.

Like Belias, The Gigas that represent the Star alignment "Aries". Belias is always the first summon to recieve in FF 12, strong and high pool health. Has a unique ability called PainFlare that by stomping the ground, a Geyser of flame gushes from underneath a Targeted foe. And his Special attack Hellfire would deal High Fire damage to foes with the current Highest health. He would do a special dance, leap into the air while riding on his staff, Striking the ground with a unique pose, causing the earth to part underneath the foe and a massive River of fire blasts out from the earth.

Or Hashmal, A Powerful being of the earth with unique Arms that allow him to smash the earth and cause Boulders and rocks to fly at the enemy called "Roxxor" (Yes a Tribute to the famed internet jargon.). His special attack is Gaia's Wrath where he is riding a very colossal boulder along a stream of Lava, as he and the rock rise from the ground, causing a ocean of Boulder and rocks to fly out of the ground eclisping a wide portion of the Land.

Or Zodiark, the Ultimate summon that looks young, yet has terrible powers to bend all laws, time and space to its whim, even enough power to cast out the Gods. Zodiark has a powerful Beam attack called Scathe, yet has a array of powerful spells at his disposal. Zodiarks special attack shows him in a Egg all of a sudden. He suddenly bursts forth with beautiful, yet awe-inspiring freighting wings of crimson light. As he sails high above creation and creates a massive Dark matter, apocalyptic explosion taking all creation out, Causing extreme and devastating damage.

...Course if Summons like this existed, There would have to balances, and fixes given the Bethesda Engine being used. Though the Esper's attacks are Flashy and full of Granduer, they display how powerful they are cause of the damage they cause, They would have to be dummed down in someway so the engine can handle it, and yet make it clear the Weapons of Mass destruction. I can imagine in the case of Belias, the Sky turns a crimson red as a Massive Ball of fire appears in the sky. Instead of the camera being drawn to Belias like in the Cutscenes, The Dragonborn (Should he be safe to do so) Would have to watch him to see him take the time to muster his power to unleash Hellfire. Otherwise continue battle while Belias readies himself.

Plus knowing that the Esper's will most likely be a lot more powerful then the Dragonborn and maybe other creatures, they will need serious drawbacks.

Case in point, Cuchulainn. Basically a Tanking Summon. A Esper that was made to purify and consume the Ick in the world. But it corrupted him somehow and now saps more of the ick from the work. Heck will even sap the life from Flora, Fauna and all humanity that is perfectly fine. Has a natural buff called "Reflect" That negates spells and throws them back at the caster. Malaise is another ability he has that lets him take health from a foe and restore his own, a clear message to his corrupt nature, plus the fact his appearance gives off the image of "Gluttony".

Cuchulainn is naturally slow to move, attack and cast Malaise. So naturally in game he would take a lot yet takes his sweet time to dish out his own. His ability to do high normal attack damage, reflect Magic attacks and High pool health make him powerful enough as a Special companion meant for CQC (For clarity, Close Quarters Combat). Of course his Reflect buff allows only reflecting magical attacks that would effect a single target, so of course it would NOT repel and throw back attacks that could either pierce his Reflect ability or can effect all characters or effect a large area.

His special attack, given how it will not be in some FMV like in FF 12 will need to be taken into Real time in-game. So the Dragonborn wont be safe in a movie while it shows off, so hes keeping on the attack while Cuchu, Like Belias, will be preparing his special attack when the conditions are met and the Dragonborn is keeping the enemies busy. Cuchu will suddenly be so happy and giggle, from which he will leap into the air at unimaginable heights, from which his back will spasm like crazy and part as a large like plant-appendage lashes out and grips at the earth. At which the Appendage pulsates and the earth underneath begins to corrupt and rot, like the life force is pull away from it. From which it quickly spreads out showing Cuchu's thirst to sap the life from everything besides just the filth in the earth.

There would need to be the special effect of when the appendage hits the earth, the Special Texture expands over the Land to make it look like its rotting, being corrupt and gooey instead of manipulating the terrain otherwise it'll be a process eater and hit the fps badly.

When a Esper does finish using its special attack, it always cuts to the screen slowly brightening up to white after they release their cataclysmic attack, A video may help someone take the approach, cause after the Special attack is use, after the Cut-to-white the Esper is automatically dismissed.

What do you all think?

i think that the summons is a very good idea but i prefere the ff X eons however i think that the most important thing for using a summon will be a strong side effect on the user so that's not possilble to use it every five seconds and for obtain a summon is necessary to complete a high difficult quest or defeat a very strong boss Edited by davi22pd

Welp, that'll have to be another time once a Modder is willing to accept this on his plate. Till then-- FF12 Espers :P

Well... I can imagine one fix that should be universal for all the Summons-- Summon Sap. The powerful Summon was so difficult to summon, that it has left you unable to recooperate mana. It cannot be cured and lasts a hour. Trying to use potions to gain back mana will be sapped away immediately, so after summoning, your in no condition to use magic in exchange for summoning the help of a extremely powerful creature/person.

That or instead of the annoying once a Day to use power, depending on the tier of Summon, it can last from 1 hour to 3 hours ingame time.

Hey! get this idea to modders! It wont do any good sitting here just to gather dust :P Spread the news! This'll be a big hit!

I've gone through about 900 pages on Oblivion mod talk and read too many posts about people with awesome ideas. The general pattern is that nobody wants to take on other peoples "awesome ideas". I'm not arguing the greatness of yours or anyone else's ideas, it's just that EVERYONE has mod ideas and most people would rather work on their own.

I know~ :) They want to work on their own, so I understand they do~ But you know it never hurts to bring this to their ear~ They may consider it and have a ball!

And the whole Plate and Till then thing, itsa joke :) But since this is suggested as a mod request, I "am" suggesting the Espers from FF12 :)
