paladin132
Howdy all... I was wondering, if I wanted to start over with the same character, is there a way to do that? Or a way to rebult the character easily without extensive nastiness?
Blackraptor31
You could use the console to add all the relevant perks and items etc.
paladin132
Is there a way to use the console to reset assigned tasks and such?
kingdark
So you want to use your current character and 'reset' the gameworld so it's like in the beginning? But your level will stay the same and stuff right? I don't think that's possible because of the fact you already have shouts. Of course I could be wrong. You could always start a new game then use the 'advlevel'' console command to level up and go from there. Use cheats or go to the test room to recover the books/items/stuff you already have and you are as close as you can some. I think.
paladin132
That and I didn't want to go through the headache of the character creation trying to get it to look the way I wanted. Guess I can just start over. The legion main quest got bugged and I cannot start it but everything else is done.
kingdark
aren't their suposed to be an endless number of self generating quests? But I get what you mean. Those 'kill him' get boring after a while, the same for the thieves quest too though those are more varied
barker279
So you basically just want "New Game Plus" right? I don't think it's completely possible. I think there's a trick you can do where you write down all of your item's Base ID's into a .bat file, which you can then execute in-game to give yourself all the items at once. I'm not sure how to do it or if it's even possible, just something I heard once. As far as I can tell you're better off ignoring the broken quest and continuing on to something else, or starting over completely for a new playthrough. Well, I know that it -is- possible to be given items at start. There are plenty of mods that do such a thing. An easier way would be to make a custom made chest where you can retrieve 'your' items and play like that. Kingdark
