Dawnguard Dragon Sword

Well, my Creation Kit doesnt work with Dawnguard, it just crashes...

So i have a request for a very simple mod: just change the material of the dragonbone sword to "nord honed". Why? because draurg honed sword have insane upgrade rates, try to sharpen a nord hero and a draurgr honed sword and see the difference.

It's a simple mod, just takes a minute or two, nothing special.

thnx

Why give a man some food when you can teach them how to fish?

You can enable viewing of Dawnguard in the CK by doing the following:

Navigate to your main Skyrim folder

Locate SkyrimEditor.ini

Find SResourceArchiveList2

Add Dawnguard.bsa to that list and save.

Problem solved :wink:

SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa

There's the full line from my SkyrimEditor.ini. Make sure your commas are in the right place and you have the extension .bsa.

err... most recent version of the CK?

Also, not sure if relevant, but also try setting bAllowMultipleMasterLoads equal to 1.

Where? under [Archive]?

Under general. I realize now I might have actually had to add that by hand... Try that, if that doesn't work I'm out of ideas.

No...less warnings, but still same result :S But thnx for all the help anyway ;)

pls, can you make me that .esp, just change the material to draugr honed to make the dragonbone sword a good endgame weapon...seriously, with 200 smithing (100 + enchantments) a legendary dragonbone sword does 138 dmg, while draug honed (like gaudur's blackblade, or the pale blade) do 283 dmg...no point in using the new weapons :S
