SpectrumlordNY
I want to make mods for Fallout 76, is there a tutorial anywhere on how to do it along with the software needed to do it ? SpectrumLordNo I don't work for Spectrum Cable, it's a throwback to my old days of hacking games for my Apple ][ and //e. Yes, you caught me, I'm OLD. SpiderJerusalem
I'd like a more helpful answer too. Interesting in modding for the first time, and would love a how-to guide, thanks. EDIT: So I came across these links, a very basic guide for FO4 editing (should essentially be the same for FO76 in most regards):https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=610879779and the link for the FO76Edit utility:https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/30 EDIT2: So FO76Edit can't be used (yet?) to make mods for FO76, as it only ouputs esp files, and currently only Ba2 files appear to work... gamingunderscoreogre
Best to practice on Fallout 4 for the time being. Eventually they will make 76 mod-able, but I don't expect that until the production run ends. i.e. when they stop adding new parts and expansions. No date has been given, but I expect it will be a long time.
