DragoonFurey
Why is there a Agonian locked in a cell wearing a slave bracer in the Argonian Mission - Ebonheart? Their spose to be freeing slaves and they have one all locked up. I talked to him and he says he escaped from a plantation and is hiding (although that dosent explain why hes locked in a prison cell) I wonder witch key you need to set him free? Thalios
I don't know for sure, but my best guess is that he escaped, but didn't get the bracer removed. He probibly has the door locked to keep people out.
HeLLL
Well I looked in the editor and I couldn't find if she be longed to anyone (the slave script doesn't tell you who owns the slave just if the slave is owned <among other things>) So maybe she was put there for the fun of it?? :)
cmac
No, there is a quest tie. In the Imperial Cult, there is a fundraising quest with an unethnical twist for someone in a holy organisation. You are supposed to get 100 drakes from Im-Kayla for the Widows and Orphans fund. You may exploit their attempt to spirit away that slave - as it IS illegal- and get more money, It's pretty much blackmail. I found one other wierd sort of thing- in the Balmora Morag Tong Guildhouse, behind several locked doors, there is a dead body of a Dunmer. I remember that his last name was Hlaalu or Hlaalo. Wonder what that was for.
SothThe69th
There are slave plantations where there are no keys for the slaves, hence no way to free them. Also, a slave might not have been able to steal a key to a bracer, and, instead, just made a run for it.
cmac
Also, a slave might not have been able to steal a bracer, and, instead, just made a run for it. Why would a slave want to stela a bracer? The bracers prevent the slaves from doing magic, and therefore from escaping. I believe the slaves would want to steal a KEY.
SothThe69th
Duly noted. I was contemplating on something else.
HeLLL
Well that makes alot more sense now. I have spent 9 hours going around morrowind slave "ranches" looking for a key to unlock the slave in Ebonhart. ;) <_< :( :)
