IVIiru
Just what the Title says. I have Dawnguard and all, and it didn't start freezing until Dawnguard. Neither with the Wolves and them not howling. During the freezes, the sound still plays. And the Wolves do all their Animations. I have deleted all the skyrim data, and verified the cache. But the freezes still persist. And the wolves still refuse to Howl. Any ideas?
GusJake
I haven't noticed wolves not howling, but I'm having the same freezing problem. Ambient sound and music still plays normally in the background but the game freezes solid and stops responding, requiring me to ctl+alt+del and use task manager to kill it. It seems to happen randomly and didn't start until I installed Dawnguard.
Al99
@ABluePikminI noticed that as well. I have experience no freezes so far but the wolves I summon as a werewolf have definitely stopped howling. They stop growling and do the howling animation but there is no sound, just silence. Try removing two Dawnguard (.esm and .bsa) files to do the testing. I did and the howling is back. I noticed other people reporting this sound issue too. Grinnbarr
Hi, I do not have Dawnguard but I've been getting this exact problem since dawnguard came out. Any suggestions? I might roll back my exe to 1.6 if that's possible but probably not if you have dawnguard.
