torch33
Hey all, I'm new to modding, and to posting, mostly a lurker, but I've run into a problem I can't figure out. This is where I am in the tutorials: Bethesda Tutorial Lights and FX > Lighting Templates and Imagespaces My specific issue is, I can't get the 'OK' button to enable in the Cell Edit window. I have taken notice of the "Changing the ambient color of a template won't do anything immediately noticeable. This value is used in the "Directional Ambient Lighting" tab. If you click the "Set From Ambient" button, the colors will all update to reflect the color chosen in the ambient color on the lighting tab.", alert, but the 'Set from Ambient" button is disabled also. Can anyone tell me what steps are necessary to enable the "set from ambient" and "OK" buttons in the Cell Edit dialog? thanks, and if I've posted this either incorrectly or in the wrong place, I welcome constructive criticism. Aryell
If you right-click in your cell and click edit you will need refresh your cell window to the Lighting Template and OK button work properly. To do that go to World Space and change "Interiors" to another space and return to "interiors" to refresh the interior cell. Select your cell again and now your lighting template can be applied. The same goal is easily achieved if you follow this most direct path World > Cells..World Space > interiors change to any other spacereturn to Interiorsselect your cell > in Lighting tab > change the lighting template of your choice.Press Apply Button and OK
