Here, this mod order list may aid people.

 

I've uploaded the file in .rtf format. It's just a list of all the mods I use and in the order I've placed them to get the game to run.

Q: So which mods do I download? All I see are .esp and .esm files with weird names!

 

A: That's part of the Journey. You must now travel through Fallout New Vegas nexus and find the mods.

 

 

Q: Umm, are there any conflicts with this list of yours?

 

A: This whole mod order list is a conflict.

 

 

Q: You're list is useless, and didn't help me at all! What was the purpose of even releasing this to the public and not just keeping it to yourself?!

 

A: For testing purposes mostly, you see by releasing a mod list of this size I can give hope to all those who face the daunting task of installing 100+ mods into your game. As even with the Mod Manager, it can be confusing for some getting it to run at all. The fact I was able to load the game, and leave Goodsprings without my game exploding speaks volumes in terms of stability!

 

 

Now I shall provide a brief installation Guide.

 

First:

 

Download and Install this http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35935/

Read the instructions. This will remove conflicts with the game being unable to read certain textures and replacing them with unsightly /!\ animations everywhere.

 

Second:

 

Download this http://nvse.silverlock.org/

Installation is straightforward.

 

 

Third:

 

Download Nexus Mod Manager.

 

 

Fourth:

 

Next, download all the zip files of all the mods.

 

 

Fifth:

 

And this is the part that will take forever, is you need to install each and EVERY MOD MANUALLY.

What this will do is make sure you have installed all the necessary textures, meshes, sound files, in the order you want them. It even helps you pick the textures you wish to keep, sometimes updates are downgrades.

 

 

After all of that is done, simply go into Nexus Mod Manager and make sure that all of the .esp and .esm files you have are in the correct order without any conflicts or missing required files.
