RickyT17
I wanted a clothing mod or two just to change things up a little so I looked at mods that contain the "Clothing" tag. Which leads me to ask this question: How many big-breasted, nude, half-nude, falling-out-of-her-bikini-top mods does one game need? Every clothing page was dominated with them. Now, mind you, I'm no prude. But take a look and tell me you don't think it's a little out of control.
Erdehel
I fully agree with you. But this is true in every modable game and even in the 3D world.
Moraelin
*shrug* Nobody is paid or doing it on commission, so they do whatever they want. If you want something else, I can only recommend doing it yourself. The question of how many X does a game need is also rather irrelevant. I mean, you can ask the same of anything else. How many Chinese melee weapons did Fallout 3 need? How many Japanese ones did Skyrim need? Because I can tell you there were more than you'd find in a major market in Tokyo during the shogunate  Well, that didn't stop me from doing both. Or did Fallout games REALLY need bat'leth and lightsabers? Probably not, but what the hell, amirite? Same issue here, really. The question isn't what some game NEEDS, but what some guy wanted to make in Blender. If it's not what YOU wanted, well, just move on.
Richwizard
It's because of the amount of teenage hormones involved in mod making. They think they're being clever, or creative, or something. Those modders are just raising a flag that says, "I'm horny!" It's a similar situation with the amount of gun mods for the Fallout games. "Mine's bigger than yours!" I think a mod with shooting boobs would be the most popular mod ever. I'd love to see that. Moraelin
That's somewhat unfair, I think, since some guns are actually rather small. I mean, I don't think there are many guns out there that, say, a FN Five-Seven is bigger than. Edit: And really, from my experience, most people's motivation was really making stuff that's more realistically sized than Beth's huge weapons. Especially for Skyrim, geeze, those paddles were ridiculous.
Richwizard
 I don't care. I just want shooting boobs.
Perraine
 I don't care. I just want shooting boobs. :laugh:Damn son, you just gave me a great idea for a new mod! Austin Powers' Fembots with machine guns in their puppies!
Richwizard
:D I've asked for exactly that on the mod request forum. But, hardly anybody seems to read that. Honestly, it's not the sort of mod I'd use in my own game. It's the sort of thing I'd like to see get made just for laughs. I'd still download it just because! Sadly, you probably won't finished in time for April Fools.
RickyT17
LOL on the boob guns. You gotta wonder why that hasn't been done. I wasn't really complaining about it - I'm all about people doing what they want. It would be nice, however, if there were a special tag that could be used so the "clothing" tag didn't get bombarded.
Richwizard
I see what you mean. In terms of file numbers, the "Clothing" category is the second biggest. It's exceeded only by; wait for it.......... WEAPONS! :woot: The ultimate phallic symbol. It's not the size of your weapon that matters, it's how you use it. I'm not overly fond of weapon mods in general, either. But, there are a couple of exceptions. I know, let's petition the Nexus powers that be for a new "Tittie Tag"!
