Oldrim Mod Conversion Issues

I tried to convert the mod, "Immersive Spells and Light - Spells Emit Light" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39759 and have got everything to work except for the MCM for SkyUI. I've seen others in the comments of the mod mentioning that their MCM works but I can't figure out why mine doesn't show up. I would normally give up and just use an already available SSE mod but this one adds light to your hands and affects the color of light emitted based on the spell and gives options for customization. Can anyone help? ;_;
