McGarnagIe
*POTENTIAL DAWNGUARD SPOILER ALERT* So, I've basically made the 'sun-blotting/eclipse' effect of the Bloodcursed Elven Arrows into a spell. I'd like to be able to make it permanent instead of the weather reverting to normal after 1 in-game day.Changing the duration of my spell has no effect, as the eclipse still expires after 1 day. Does anyone know how I might be able to make it so the eclipse remains permanently? Thanks.
DaedalusMachina
I have a feeling that the item (or spell) effect doesn't make the sky go dark, it triggers something else to do so, and that something else is not as easy to manipulate as a spell. That's just the hunch I get from reading what you just wrote.

Thanks for the reply. There are scripts involved in changing the weather to the eclipse, which is what you might be alluding to.However, the eclipse is still listed as a Magic Effect in the Creation Kit and that's what I used to create the spell, so I would've thought that I could simply alter the duration. But that doesn't seem to work.
