Crashing with honed metal

So, honed metal does not seem to work for my game anymore. Every time I ask any of the blacksmiths to temper any of my items, it crashes to desktop. They can create new items for me, just not upgrade them. I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. There are no major errors as far as I know? I tried searching online but did not find any similar problems. Here is my load order. If anyone sees the issue I'd be very very happy.
