Kazagarumanesh
Hello all, your friendly and not so well known, Kazagarumanesh here. I am having a HUGE annoying issue with saving, fast travel, and bigger loads. I have a strong feeling it's due to my mods. Very likely due to my use of 29 mods. I didn't research much of what mods may conflict with each other so I am hoping someone can help me. If my load order is poopie then help me there too! I use BOSS so, my friend says, that should fix my boot loader up right. I'll attach a picture of my mods that I'm using. Please help me, this force closing that happens is a real hassle. I can't play anymore and have made some good progress but am using items from mods and I would really be butt hurt to have to lose them. Thanks, Kaza. Rhutobello
I am not sure I can point out what is wrong, because it might be something else then the list, if you have had mods installed, removed them and still play from the same save file....but but :) What i would try out is to remove some of your Dragons mods.....I see you have 3 of them (when you include levelers), and that might create conflict. If it is not these, then you have to experiment....remove..load...zone a couple of times... if CDT...remove another....load the same game...not the one which is created when zoning....and do until you find a stable play. If you aren't to far into the game, I rather recommend a new start ....then take those mods that have shown themselves as stable....play....and each time you want to add a mod...make a savegame and write it up....then you are able to go back if it later show up error messages. It is Not Skyrim or any mods fault....it is all our own fault....we want to much....and then we must try to figure out what conflict.....most of the time it will be written on the mods site....but the combination of mods, combined with savegames are almost unlimited so it can never give the exact answer :)
bben46
Here is a link to my troubleshooting blog. .http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4751769/1/#new If you use any of this and have some success - or even if nothing works - please post back here what you did that worked or didn't work. That kind of information can be invaluable to other members having the same or similar problems - And to me in fixing any problems in the blog. Kazagarumanesh
@Rhutobello The dragon related mods, I don't think would be the issue, the three Deadly Dragons mods are all meant to go together, Dragonbone Weapons are simply new weapons and baby dragon is just a pet. I WILL try to get rid of the levelers tower and baby dragon just to see if either are the cause. Thanks for the advice. I may just restart as you said. turbosnowy
Not the thing you want to hear but you'll need to do some analysis yourself to work this out - could be that your PC can't cope with all the mods you loaded, or could be that some are playing nice with each other. Since noone knows your PC, I would advise uninstalling all mods - test Skyrim, does fasttravel, quicksave work etc, then add one by one until you run into a problem - then you get an idea of where the problem lies - could be a mod issue, could just be your poor PC is about to explode - for example I have heard people that have PCs that stuggle have similar issues to you with fast travel, frame rate drops/freezes and quicksave in particular just crashing them out - might not be a mod problem at all (in themselves) - you might just have too weak a setup to run them all at the same time sadly... Kazagarumanesh
It's definitely not the computer xD but I used to have an old beater laptop that could only run Diablo for some reason haha. I have a Lenovo V570 and it runs surprisingly well on the higher settings. I could bring the settings down and I wouldn't complain about how it looked because I know this game looks good still. I honestly believe it's just conflicting mods. I am thinking just start from scratch as was suggested and install one by one. Fwew so much work since I have a ton more I want to toss in. Wish me luck!
asdgora
I'm not an expert at this but I think it would be helpful to post your papyrus log. to enable go to your skyrim.ini and add these lines :[Papyrus]bEnableLogging=0bEnableTrace=0bLoadDebugInformation=0 an error log would be generated after you play the gam, located in: (Your Username)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\ Check for any abnormalities in the error log (like hundreds of repeated lines), and take note of the log's size in Mb's. If it's too large, you may need a program like notepad++ to open it. Give us feedback on what you find and maybe someone will be able to help. Kazagarumanesh
Problem was solved. Used the newest version of BOSS and it showed some unrecognized plug-ins. The two tha tI got rid of were SHeogorath's Rabit Hole(the cocsmoke mod) and the Draco Badbreath and Drake Redwinger The Pet Dragons mod. I am unsure which it was that rwecked my functionality but I got rid of them both. there was a third unrecognized plug-in called workhorse.esp. I am unsure what it is but all is well now, so I will keep it!
