possiblysin
Hey I'm just wondering what you guys think would be the best choice for: I've just reinstalled Oblivion (Got rid of all my mods) and I want to know what you guys think would make for the most realistic game. I'm thinking OOO, Living Economy, Harvest Flora, Deadly Reflex, Midas Magic, Illumination within, Francescos leveled creatures, Atmospheric Weather System or Enhanced Weather. Give me your thoughts so I can optimize my Oblivion experience (Believe me I will read them so please type)Organized them like this please Armor: Weapons: Weather: UI/Map: Overhauls: Races/Classes: Quests: Companions: Buildings (i.e. castles, houses) : Guilds: Body packs/textures (i.e. HG Eye Candy): Graphics/Performance Enhancers: Anything else you can think of would be a help like I said I will read your posts so they don't worry they'll fall on deaf ears. :thanks:

SheerShaw
Must Haves:Wrye Bash-Organizes mod load orders, and allows you to use the Bashed Patch to solve many mod incompabilities. TES4View-Allows you to see easily mod incompabiliies. Oblivion Mod Manager-Organizes mod load orders and allows you to use OMODs. -COBL-Adds a bunch of stuff, such as new ingredients, but also is required for a lot of mods. Screen Effects-Allows you to control some graphics filters, but also required in a lot of mods. OBSE-Allows many mods to be possible, to put it simply. UI: First of all, you want a UI that doesn't suck. And for that there is nothing better than Darnified UI, the most comprehensive and most configurable UI to date. There is also a Dark UI Darnified UI if you prefer that. You can also get extra themes by Luchaire for these two. (1 2 3 4 56 7 If you go DarkUI Darn, get Atmospheric Loading Screens, and its three theme packs. These add less boring pictures to the load screens. Over 1500 of them. Weather: All Natural is my favorite at the moment. It combines Enhanced Weather and Natural Weather, along with Natural Interiors and Real Lights.Ambient Dungeons also complements this well, so get that as well. You'll need OBSE, Screen Effects, and You Are Here. Overhauls: FCOM is the best of the bunch. However, it is difficult to install for new users. You can look at Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, Francesco's Leveled Creatures Items, Oblivion Warcry, or 'Martigen's Monster Mod I might add more later, but I'm sleepy now.
