low download speed

hello, i don't know why i'm getting very low download speed like 19-22kb/s and i have a 4mb connection. i'm only getting low speed on skyrim nexus. and yes i don't download with NMM because my game is in my gaming pc and i download the mods from different one (don't use internet on my gaming pc and probably never will). Any help plz. i'll be grateful.

do u have a router?

If so take it off and try to download something from the site (i had that issues it was my router and yes this is day 2 of being on this site)

 

If that dont work call ur isp and ask them.

yes i have but i also tried without the router, just with the modem.

what do i say to my isp that i'm having downloading problem with only one site? i think my isp'll laugh :D

They wont laugh depending on who u have mine didnt this isnt the 1st site i had issues with. i had issues with blizzard.com i called then and they helped me fix it it was mainly all on there end

Its quite annoying, are you using a laptop?

 

Dose the site take its time loading at all?

next best thing i can suggest is call your isp or contact a forum admin and see if they have any suggestions

 

Or look at this website its for latency and ping testing and trace route

For all trace/ping/lat tests use this website nexusmods.com follow the steps and make sure to put in that website in where needed
