hero4682
hi, is there mod out there that keeps your shield out while fighting unarmed? and if not, would it be hard to make that plug-in? it would be awsome to be able to beat someone up and shield bash them (deadly reflexes mod) at the same time... captain america style
Jntk
or get a mod that adds a sheild as a weapons (would probably be smpiler then having to rewrite h2h animation since it would look weird) that'll be cool but i would stick to my scythe

Deleted269910User
Some shields would really look plain wierd, but some shields could look fairly good this way. I don't think there is a mod that does it so far tho. Also I don't think the animations would have to be rewritten, a simple script/variable to make the shield just visible while h2h fighting could do the job, even if just for visuals. For any actual use of the shield, animations would have to be re-done though. Honestly saying I could be wrong also as I'm no expert on the field unfortunately. Basically, this idea could be further used to look like the player was using fist weapon(s) by adding a decent looking mesh & texture for the shield, rigging it might be slightly difficult tho.(And I mean without taking a gauntlet slot, or modifying the animations.) Do correct me if I'm wrong though. ~Elraine
Khet
Well in terms of making it look like the player is using a fist weapon, you could actually do it, classify it as an actual weapon, but again you'd still have to rewrite the animation for the weapon since by default the character would try to swing it like a blade/blunt weapon. Either way, for something like this I really don't see how it's possible unless you rewrite the animations.
Deleted269910User
I know, my point was that it might also be possible to 'fake it' without having to re-do the animations.
