SilentCartograoh
So I have played bethesda games since the end of morrowind-start of oblivion, and have always loved the mods users have created for each of the games. Mods like Master Chief's armor, or tweaks to gameplay, or, my favorite, quest mods! What I want to do is begin modding to make my own mod to, for lack of a better phrase, "give back" to everyone that has made my gaming experience that much better. But what I want to do, is have a competition for it. I want to get a mod idea, something kind of generic, but along the lines of quest related. Then, find other people who are interested in creating the mod, and finally, see who can make the best rendition of the mod idea I or another, has thought up of. Would anyone here be interested in doing this with me? You don't even have to have modded previous to this. Bethesda had tutorials on Youtube that help very much. Not sure you realise how complex, involved and timeconsuming making a mod actually is - not trying to be insulting in any way, your enthusiasm is commendable but it appears you are trying to 'give back to the community' by getting other people to do all the work... again. How about as an alternate idea, you develop a great idea for a mod you personally would like to see, then learn through trial and error (takes time and a lot of commitment) and make it see the light of day on Nexus or Steam - you would then be a modder yourself, have given back to the community as you intended and likely many other people would share the joy of your own personal vision - that's how it works. As I said - really not trying to be derogatory, just give modding a go yourself - everyone started at some point knowing nothing and look how many mods there are out there now for all the TES games....
