Aela's armor gray seemingly missing texture

Having a hell of a time with this one. Heavily modded Skyrim SE playthrough through MO2, and everything was fine last I played it. Today I started it up and when encountering Aela, her armor had no texture, instead its just some grayish mess (not even purple like a normal missing texture). I don't know whats' going on, its early in the game but she's the only character I've encountered with this problem. The boots and gauntlets are fine so its apparently only the Ancient Nordic Cuirass that's bugging out. The only thing I've installed that alters that though is the amidianborn Book of Silence stuff, and those files have been properly converted to SE and the dds files for this armor are present. Even so I've disabled the mods to test but to no avail. The only things I had added to my load order between the last time I had seen Aela and all was fine and now was a few warpaint overlay mods. Disabled those and the problem remained too. So I'm at a loss as to what this is. I've attached a pic and my load order (its big...usually I have a bashed patch and the like but I had disabled them as part of trying to test what was going on here). Thanks in advance if I could be pointed in any sort of direction.

 

 

Edit: Well not long after posting this I narrowed it down on my own, its Touched By Dibella that's doing this, or some sort of conflict between it and something else. Now to find out why. Will update if I figure it out, if anything maybe this could be a reference if anyone else comes looking for info on the same problem.

 

Edit 2: Found it! The issue is between TBD and an entry in SSE Engine Fixes. In the most recent build there's an entry in the config file called BSLightingShaderForceAlphaTest. This is set to true by default and this is what is causing the discoloration in Aela's armor. Maybe it has something to do with the lighting effects TBD added, and for some reason its just affecting this armor (as far as I've seen thus far). Whatever the reason,, setting this entry from true to false fixes the issue.

Thank you for finding this. I was experiencing a similar issue with only 3 specific pieces of armor, and changing that setting resolved the issue.

Thank you sir for this post.. as I had been wracking my brain to why this occured with Aela as well.
