AbleGnome
Just a thought...If something CDT after almost regular intervals, can it maybe be something else then the program itself that do it? can it maybe be a backgrounds program? Do you have something like ""Whitesmoke"" running...or a program that index thing....try to close them down if you have. ....and when you say Vanilla game....I assume it is then from a fresh start....not from a savegame that still contain old information. Thank you for the suggestions. Yes a fresh save--lots of them. It's not regular intervals at 10 minutes. 10 min, 20 min, 5 min, etc. I'll double-check b.g. programs, but I run hardly anything. Malwarebytes, and that's it, except for graphic card's Catalyst program. And firewall.
David Brasher
mate, you do realize that it's not really beth's fault you have modded the game to the point of it f***ing up dlc, like dawnguard.uninstall your mods, now try it out. moaning aint gonna do s***. @ beeblebub You are beating a dead horse dude. Didn't you read further on down the thread where the issue was resolved? The problem was NOT my 30 mods but the .bsa file which I have now unpacked. My 30 mods play just fine now. The same 30 mods I had when I installed Dawnguard. Edited August 8, 2012 by David Brasher
Snowsong
I'm playing the side of the vampire hunters. I've now played Dawnguard up to the point where you recruit the man and woman to bring back to the castle. They're at the castle now. I'm playing with no mods, and have not had a single bug so far. I suspect many of these bugs people are reporting are being caused by mods. I haven't played the side of the vampires yet, so I couldn't tell you how buggy or not buggy those quests are.
