Compatibility tab for mod page suggestion

Hello there,

I wanted to suggest a compatibility tab added to each mod page which allows a user to report how compatible a mod (not only hosted on nexus) is toward the other.

It should bring up a blocks list of compatibility reports and each of the report blocks acts like a button which links to their own discussion page. There should also be some small buttons on the margins for navigation, filtering current reports and create and remove current reports.

Each of these report blocks should contain the mod name, mod id, mod version for which compatibility is being evaluated, a brief, 2-3 lines overview of discussions made inside the block (will be explained further below) etc. and above all else, they should have colored borders indicating the compatibility status.

Once the reported compatibility block has been created by a user or the original author, other users can get inside the block by clicking on it where they will find a brief discussion page for said mod compatibility. and comment on whether they agree with them or want it to change. Each user will be permitted to vote once for each of the compatibility statuses and the most votes will decide the information shown on the block like color indications described hereinbelow.

Possible Compatibility Statuses:

  • Green - Fully Compatible
  • Blue - Compatible (may have some negligible issues)
  • Yellow - Compatible (has minor issues which are solvable by a patch)
  • Orange - Partially Compatible (has major issues which are unsolvable by a patch)
  • Red - Incompatible

Thanks for reading this suggestion.
