Dawnguard - Touching the Sky BUGGED!!!

I have found a MUCH easier and must less glitchy way to do this.

 

First open console and type in:

 

SetStage DLC1VQ07 100

 

This makes sure that you are actually at the quest stage where you are suppose to pour the water.

 

Then while in console, make sure the door is selected, type in:

 

unlock

 

Finally type in:

 

SetStage DLC1VQ07 110

 

This updates the quest to you having opened the door.

 

Then open the door and continue the quest as normal.

 

 

 

Did all that, after going through those doors behind the throne, still says i need to confront him, and kill him but it woudlnt let me attack the snow elf guy, but he was attacking and beating the crud out of Serana :sad: also, large chunks of the area keep disappearing as im walking around the sunken shrine thing you fight him at.

there is simply way,,

 

open console command

 

setstage dlc1vq07 200

 

then

 

coc whiterun

 

best choice. Just duplicate him and kill for loot.

To me other options not worked.

setstage dlc1vq07 105 sets it to just after filling the basin normally and cued the water flowing toward the door
