Missing hair nif files

Sorry if this is in the wrong area but it seemed right....

Anyways i'm trying to add more hairs to my characters and i've downloaded a lot of hair packages, now that's not the problem. When i open hair in TESCS there are many hairs that sound like i would use them but the directory that it says the hair files are in either doesn't contain them or they don't exist. Specifically i'm looking for files in "...meshes\characters\Nec characters\" There are many listed in this folder but for the life of me i can't find them anywhere! I've searched my entire hard drive and looked in all my archives and omod files and still can't find them.

I'm looking for: twintail, teraeros/terarerosshort, dreamheart, dreamlong, dreamshort, dreamtrue, lemonade, ponytail, and rouge

All of them are supposed to be in the forementioned folder. If anyone has them or knows where i can get them please let me know.

Supposed to be? I wonder what you downloaded. What you mentioned are from PrttyCure hairset, one of Japanese hairset mods. I don't know how much race/cosmetic mods here have them(maybe a few). I got them from Beautiful People - 2ch Edition.

I don't even know what they would have come with.....i have so many cosmetic mods....i'll give what you suggested a go. Now if only i had have paid more attention in Japanese classes!

You could download a version of it from Henkyo's 4shared account, if your Japanese skills aren't very good. the file is divided with 7-zip, so you need it to open and extract it though.

They're 1.5.x. Current version is 1.7.x, which has some more hairs and eyes. Just check BP 2ch Edition thread to get latest version.

If they are in a folder called NEC Characters, it sounds like they came with a downloaded ready-made character made by the fabulous Nec. There are many of his or her lovely creations on tesnexus. But the readme for that character would have directed you that you need to download your own resources to use with the character I'm sure.

 

I haven't used any of those characters, but I download them because I always think "someday I may want to play with this fabulous beauty!" :D

Yeah i got the 1.7.1 version. I can read a little Japanese but not enough to understand it all....rest assured it worked anyways and those hairs...meh...not so good...lol

Better than i could have done but not exactly what i'm after.....babes hairs are better for me. But it did include a lot more resources for me to go through (and anyone who wants to d/l the huge file!)

Hmm, but those Japanese hairs are working great now, and they're absolutely beautiful.
