dubiousintent Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 First of all, get rid of the 'weOCPS.dll' (Wisdom Earles Oblivion Crash Prevention System) OBSE Plugin. While it does not cause problems, it is masking them. It intercepts certain errors and ignores them, preventing them from displaying to you. While this allows you to keep playing for the moment, it's also allowing problems to perpetuate and leads to corruption of your save games down the road. While troublesome, it's better to track down and resolve the underlying conflicts. (Between BOSS and Wrye Bash I have no need of it with over 300 installed mods.) And it may be masking information related to this problem in this instance. Second, I haven't seen that particular problem referenced before. As I recall they don't show up until you have reached a certain stage (30?) in the quest, so check out the stages on the UESPWiki [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Whom_Gods_Annoy] against your quest log. It's always possible you skipped a necessary stage because of your previous experience. If you don't have a problem with quest stages, then all I can suggest is loading your entire 'load order' into TES4Edit, filter for inherited conflicts (just like when cleaning), and then expand the references to Rosentia's house in Leyawiin and see if more than one mod is altering anything there. I removed 'weOCPS.dll' (Wisdom Earles Oblivion Crash Prevention System) OBSE Plugin. Unchecking all the mods one at time. I can do, but it's really slow to find the problem. all I can suggest is loading your entire 'load order' into TES4Edit, filter for inherited conflicts (just like when cleaning), and then expand the references to Rosentia's house in Leyawiin and see if more than one mod is altering anything there. Then you return to talk to her again. She gives you the staff. You go and the scamps follow you. When I talk to her, there are no scamps at no point in that sequence. Looks like that might be the culprit, as nothing else seems likely to affect that quest. If it isn't that, you'll have to hope someone else recognizes it. I have no further ideas. I want all the bug fixes install that are available. Installed in order: Unofficial_Oblivion_Patch_v3_2_0_Installer_Version-5296Unofficial_Oblivion_Patch_v3_4_1_Upgrade_Installer-5296-3-4-1Checkboxes[x][ ] I'll have to uncheck one mod at time and test until I find the mod. I don't think it's a quest error. The scamps don't appear, but the quest runs fine. I'll see if the upgrade fixes the problem. I'll post the link from this thread to that one. Plus, I unchecked all my mods in OBMM with the only oblivion master left. The glitch still occurs. Edit: I uninstalled both files and made sure there were no esps in data. I made a clean save.
