user0510
I had posted that I hadn't gotten skyrim to run in two years on linux. I never got any help so I get a copy of windows 8 and switched my laptop from linux to windows. I wiped the laptop so I had to reinstall everything. The install process was flawless and I used gamerpoets and gophers methods to install and mod the game with no issue. My only problem is that I can't get the game to run more than 15 fps. Its too slow to get into the cart scene. I never got an error installing anything as I was able to follow the guides and did exactly what they did. I have skse and skyui installed but I don't have fnis installed and the only other mod I have installed thats jaxonz positioner. I never touched the ini files I just followed the install and modding guides.
metaphorset
Jesus, dude... either get decent hardware or post at least some specs. People here don't have magic crystal balls that give those answers. Also, don't forget to breathe. Make use of paragraphs to get some structure into your posts. It usually helps to post in the right sub forum, eg. Technical Support and not General Discussion.Make sure you have the latest GPU drivers installed, they don't come with the OS.
