Deleted43016095User
Hi, I'm trying to find a specific area in CK and I've read about Cell View in the CK wiki but it's more of an overview, not really a how to guide on working with it. I have a location at a small unmarked lake between Cradlecrush Rock and Mara's Pond, and when looking at either of those exteriors this area and the stature of Talos I want to place an item at isn't listed, so it's probably a wilderness cell. Does anyone have a trick for getting the cell name while inside the game so I know what to search for in CK? Any help appreciated. http://f.3ezy.net/Dirtnap/Dirt%20Nap/20190324224806_1.jpg http://f.3ezy.net/Dirtnap/Dirt%20Nap/20190324230917_1.jpg
Uledus
Open the Console in game, click on the Statue of Talos and you know that the Object ID of this Reference is 000eca7f.In the CK go to Edit → Find Text. Search for eca7f and look at the entry in the Objects tab below. Now you can see that the location of the outdoor cell is X 23 Y -1 and you can find this cell with the Go button in Cell View window). If you double-click on the entry, the camera in Render Window will jump to the exact place of the Statue of Talos. Evangela
You can take the current x,y positions, divide them by 4096 to give you the x, y coordinations. Will need to account for negative x, y axis. That mod though makes it so you dont have to calculate them yourself, but I think it doesn't account for negatives. If you have a negative coordinate, just subtract 1 from it to get the correct one. Edited March 26, 2019 by Rasikko
