mottokrosh
Hi everyone, I'm stuck with this one, hopefully someone here can help me out. I've created a skirt to go with glass armour (none of the existing ones really go with it, so I thought hey, let's get my hands dirty). I've copied a NIF file into meshes/c, edited it to point to the new texture, and under Clothing is TESCS I added it, as well as under Body Parts. I placed an instance of it in the game on the floor somewhere, and it looks fine (ie. a folded skirt, using my new texture), but as soon as I equip it, the whole groin/upper leg area disappears. Now while running around legless might be fun, it really wasn't what I intended. If anyone has any ideas what I've missed, I would be most grateful. I can post more details about the settings I put in if necessary. -- mottokrosh.
mottokrosh
Solved it. The problem was that I used the wrong NIF files for the Clothing, resp. Body Parts. I didn't realise that 2 different files were used until I studied exisiting examples more closely. My texture is ever so slightly misaligned, which I'll fix soon, and then I might release the mod. There must be other people out there looking for a matching skirt to go with glass armour. :) -- mottokrosh.
Ragnor Stormcloud
Well, I'm not really looking for a skirt, but good job solving your problem.
