Enatiomorph
Let me get this back on the right track. Shor is an Aedra. Shor is an aspect or Lorkhan. When you die, your soul eventually goes to the Dreamsleeve. Even when you are in the service of a Daedric Lord, you may eventually enter the Sleeve (and the key to this is time may run out, or the specific sphere of the Void may be altered). Think of the different mantling's of Sheogorath (Arden-Sul) for example. This is actually formed on the real world principle that given enough time anything can happen. And I'm talking 10 to the 100th to the 90th power. A ridiculous amount of time. Anyway, any Daedric overruled soul can go to the Dreamsleeve, it's just determined with time and fate (or the backwards projection of time). Aedric souls go to the Dreamsleeve as well. And, Sovngarde is in fact part of the Dreamsleeve. It is the Nordic-Anuic "dream". Since that is exactly what the Dreamsleeve does. It is your dream while your soul is washed to be recycled. As it is a dream, you can send telepathic messages through the Sleeve (which is another use for it). The souls are washed in hopes that they can one day achieve divinity (Zero Sum), regardless of their past. In this way this emotionless machine that some see as evil, is really trying to give every entity it's chance at ruling it's own dream universe made real. snipNope. It is all Dreamsleeve. All souls have that chance, per mathematical probability and outcomes. It's already happened. The DS is the way to Zero Sum, and thus all entities have an equal chance (barring time). You forget that all Daedra are only powered by their influence of the Anuic, including the mortal conceptions of them. They can also deal souls. We've already saved souls from a Daedric plane in Dawnguard. Nothing new. Anyone can go, and eventually all of them, mathematically. Their chances of such are subjective to fate and the prerogative of the gods however. Also, know that the whole thing is a dream. Technically everyone is in their own dream and Dreamsleeve. In the wheel of ES the I in CHIM is the gateway to godhood and the epicenter of the spoke planes. Over time superfluidity occurs as an inevitability, thus it all gets recycled through a/the Dreamsleeve. dragonslayer2k12
This idea makes me think it will be some kind of DLC later on where you get to kill off all the bad daedra or even all daedra in the game. The hall of the vigilant or what ever the stendarr types call it might as well have DLC HOUSE written on the outside of it lol. I keep hearing some goofy idea of a theme song called DLC HOUSE in my head everytime I think about that place. Maybe to be more friendly to future game plots you get to fight each daedra for your soul and if you defeat them they let go of you so you don't have to kill them just beat them up badly? Matth85
But I thought Shor was neither Aedra nor Daedra? That means that in the end of time there will be only two known places, the Void and Sovengarde? In the end you end up in the void. Easy as that. Daedra are immortal, and the aedra reside as the earthbones of mundus and have no realm of their own any more. Which is true, however: Immortal =/= unkillable. Dadreic lords can be killed, and so can the divines. In the end of time there will only be the void, where you will end up in. Yes it does. Unfortunately for your theory its use has already happened in a DLC for Skyrim. I won't say for what just suggest you play through Dawnguard a bit to find out. The dreamsleeve is only briefly mentioned on the Aetherius wiki page and doesn't get a page of it's own. Nowhere in the lore does it state that all souls want to achieve zero sum or that the dreamsleeve is anything other than a recycling area for some souls from Aetherius. Also, all daedra are immortal and cannot be truely killed. Even the lesser daedra like atronarchs are merely banished when they "die" and they end up back in oblivion eventually. It's lore, not nonsense. This is common knowledge to Temple Zero. Wiki? That is your problem right there. Going to the wiki for lore is like going to grade school to learn advanced physics. Yes, Daedra can be killed (especially mantled Daedra). Know more about lore before responding next time. Just because you didnt know it, doesnt make it nonsense, ROFL. Getting lore from the wiki is nonsense. Bet you had never even heard of the Dreamsleeve until you googled it. Some people are so far behind in the race (you), that they think they are leading, LOL. The wheel is Aurbis, the spokes and spaces between are the Aedra and Daedra, The wheel turned on it's side makes the I, which is the Dreamsleeve/way to the Dreamsleeve. All souls are recycled given a long enough time. Everybody who is anybody knows this, Lady N, Prowler, Pilaf etc. Edited August 8, 2012 by Enatiomorph
MrGoldenAge
Wait, in the Dreemsleve a soul can view whatever they want, whether it be Sovengarde or maybe even if given the chances Soul Cairn. Are they all part of the dreamsleeve? If the dreamsleeve is all part of a dream then why do we see Alduin in Sovengarde? Are they all part of the dreamsleeve? If the dreamsleeve is all part of a dream then why do we see Alduin in Sovengarde?Because of Shor's dream. And because Alduin was given Anuic permission to devour souls in Sovngarde. For all we know, that was part (or one of the ways) of soul recycling. The Daedric realms are not part of the dreamsleeve, but Souls can/may still change states from Oblivion to Aetherius, etc. per the laws of probability. Thus leading to souls that were once ruled over by a Daedra the chance at being recycled. Then there is the Godhead, who is all of the gods, or to put it another way, all of the gods are split personalities of the amnesiac Godhead. So it is his echo(s) that decides all. If I had a nickel for every bit of lore not on any of the wikis, I wouldn't be here right now, informing you on the lore. Again, this is something that everybody who is anybody knows. You go to the IL for lore, not UESP. You can ask as much on the IL, or Beth Lore Forums and the well informed will tell you the exact same thing.
