Deleted1120122User Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Hey, I'm working on a new mod for myself (will distribute if i like the results) and i've gotten as far as making the new world cell, the entrance in tamriel, and thats just about it. The reason i stopped so far is because im having some trouble mainly with mountains. When i add mountains for my cell (it is completely enclosed by mountains and maybe a waterfall or two) they seem to go invisible after unloading when i move the camera. My question is if there's some way to make the view distance in Kit larger or someway to keep them from going invisible while im working to line up the mountain range. --- The mod im making is going to be a Player home in an enclosed valley or grove of some sort. My plan is to have atleast one large water feature and mountains surrounding a (very?) large Forested area with a castle or fort of some kind ( many options with the new dawngaurd DLC) preferably built into the mountains. I would like the forested area to be full of all kinds of magically sustained herbs and alchemy components. The main theme is meant to be cross-class; The castle very suited to a warrior/lord or thane type, perhaps with an arena and some way of sending in various enemies. The Grove perfect for alchemists ( mage or otherwise). A large tree-house/hunting lodge for the archer-marksman type. An underground catacombs perfect for vampire lords and necromancers. Hidden passages for the Assassin and thief (perhaps with a fence? and an escape route). And last but not least a large overlook with all the mages favorite goodies and maybe a portal to the college (upon completion of a quest to get it working) and maybe some other places: like valkihar or dawngaurd depending on your choices. --SPOILERS(for this i may try to use the overlook and portals from the lost vale in Dawnguard -the one from the quest to get auriel's bow)SPOILERS OVER-- I would also like there to be a spare house or two vendors and maybe some servants running about the castle. I also plan to make it so you can quick travel directly in and must first complete a dungeon to gain access. Please let me know of anything i can do about the mountain issues and any other tips for working with a new world cell. I would also love for any ideas on the name ( im going with The Watchers Rest until i can think of a better one -I quite like The Wicked Garden- ) or features for the valley.Thank you for any help you can offer!! =) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
