SushiRush
So my idea is less of a Skyrim Mod and more of an entirely different game running on the Creation Engine. Akin to DayZ and Arma. This is the basic concept:When you create a new save with this .esp active, there are no quests, cities, towns, or NPCs. (Other than animals). You spawn in a random location, with nothing on your person other then some clothes and a dagger. There is no HUD. Not even a crosshair, not even action prompts. (Press E to Open etc)The map will be replaced with a static 2D picture similar to Oblivion, and there would be no indication of where the player is. The player would have to find a landmark to get his bearings. We would include a Hunger/Thirst/Sleep mod, or create our own. Dragons would either be disabled, or be extremely rare and powerful. The objectives of the mod would be to survive, explore, loot, and ultimately find a safe shelter. (We would place cabins, dilapidated houses, and old forts throughout the world that the player can claim as their own) We could also very rarely spawn a follower like a dog or human that the player can recruit. Obviously there is not much depth at this moment, but once we get the core mod working we can think about other things. For example:Campfires/TentsDamage multipliers More sophisticated healing system (Crippled limbs) Option for permanent deathTimescale adjustmentsCarrying capacity adjustment Adding clutter to the mapAdding lore (Found journals) Rare/Legendary animals to huntDrug effectsSkill level timesTrophy cases for animal killsetc. Ultimate goal of the mod is to create a realistic depiction of surviving in a harsh, alien environment. Ideally, the mod could be turned on and off simply by activating and deactivating the .esp. If any modders are interested in helping out with this project, post here and we'll exchange contact information. My hope is to find some people that are willing to work on this for their own pleasure, but compensation is not out of the question, just contact me. You don't have to be very skilled, as most of the work requires no scripting and simply consists of editing the map in the creation kit. Also, if you're not a modder feedback on this idea would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Edited August 8, 2012 by SushiRush
