Trying to mod skyrim with NMM

whenever i start it says "You are missing C:/Users/Noah/Desktop/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim/Data/Data/skyrim.esm.Please verify your game install and ensure C:/Users/Noah/Desktop/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim/Data/Data/skyrim.esm is present" Any help???????? 1. You appear to be posting in the wrong forum.

 

2. It looks like you have NMM pointing to the wrong directory, you need to point it to where Skyrim is installed. Which should be something like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim

Nonetheless, you're either pointing NMM to the wrong directory or your copy isn't legit.
