Skills in Red, are ZERO!!

So I just hit level 23. Now, like every other level, I went to pick a perk, but as soon as I got to the menu I noticed that all my skills we're in red. Okay, no big deal, maybe I have a disease, but they we're all Zeroes! I've heard of people with a problem like this > http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111113070752AApBReE < where it will fix itself upon leveling up that skill, but that didn't work either.

I tested that on my archery skill since it was so close to leveling up. I shot the arrow that gave me the EXP for the next Archery skill level. On screen the dialog popped up saying "Archery increased to 43" so I started thinking "oh, OK, just have to do this for all of them, no biggie" but when I went to the skills view, my archery skill didn't say 43, or 0. Now it said 1.

I tried to fix this issue by grabbing a quick blessing, but that didn't work either. Some of my stats are where they are, like my Smithing is still 20, and a few other are where they should be, and not in red text. But the rest are red zeroes. I don't know what to do.

Note - For some reason, this doesn't effect any but some of my most recent saves, basically anything RIGHT after reading Alduin's Wall. I'm not sure what's going on, but it's pissing me off- PLEASE HALP

could be.

what is the size of your saves?

and how long are you playing the character?

If the filesize is "normal" it could be a weird bug.

are you using mods, that change your stats?

did you got contracted with some diseases that change your stats?

The recent ones are in the late 7's- like the highest one is 7.99 MB, and the oldest one is 3 MB, so I guess that's pretty normal

I'm not sure how long I've been playing as this character, honestly, it's my first one and I haven't bothered to check playtime yet, and I can't really give an estimate to how long. I'm at level 22/23 if that helps any

I'm using mods, but not anything that changes stats. I'm using one that adds perks, but that doesn't seem to be the issue

Nope, can't catch diseases- werewolf blood. Besides I went and got a blessing just in case it was that

then i would say, it's a weird bug.

but you can force the skills to a specific level with the console.

modAV <attribute> <nn>

forceAV <attribute> <nn>

setAV <attribute> <nn>

  Quote
ModAV modifies the attribute value by registering a permanent modifier (positive or negative) of the value stated. Displayed player attributes modified in this way will be highlighted (default is green text) to indicate a modifier ('buff' or 'debuff') is being applied.

Ok, thanks man, I think I'll just start back from one of the clean saves (I didn't make much progress since then, so I'm OK with going back a mission or two)
